By Newsbreak Producer, Tashlan Naidoo - Condolences are pouring in following the passing of Mahatma Gandhi's nephew, Arun Gandhi who died in India this morning at the age of 89. Arun Gandhi was the second child of Manilal and Sushila Gandhi and brother to Sita and Ela. In 1956, Arun left South Africa to immerse his father's ashes in India and was subsequently unable to return to South Africa due to apartheid laws. His funeral service will take place in India later this afternoon while a prayer service will be held at the Phoenix Settlement north of Durban this afternoon. His niece, Uma Dhupelia-Mesthrie says Arun wrote several books, established the Mahatma Gandhi Institute in the USA and dedicated his life to spreading his great-great-grandfather's philosophy of non-violence....
