By Newsbreak Producer, Tashlan Naidoo - The Department of Co-operative Governance (COGTA) in KwaZulu-Natal says Ladysmith town has reopened following torrential rains which flooded homes and businesses in the area at the weekend. The Department says water levels have subsided and its teams are assessing the damage to homes and infrastructure. Residents and business owners remain frustrated, saying that the town gets flooded every year and government does not take action.
