The Department says water levels have subsided and its teams are assessing the damage to homes and infrastructure. Residents and business owners remain frustrated, saying that the town gets flooded every year and government does not take action. KZN COGTA spokesperson, Nonala Ndlovu says relief aid is being provided to those affected....

This after analysis has proven that drinking and driving largely contributes to road fatalities in the country. Therapeutic Manager for The South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Rudhika Naidoo, says a ban on drinking and driving is welcomed, however work needs to be done to do the same with being under the influence of drugs while behind the wheel...
