By Newsbreak Producer Taliesha Naidoo - KwaZulu-Natal police are still searching for the suspects who shot dead a father and wounded his daughter at Newlands East in Durban. The 60-year-old father and 24-year-old daughter were walking on John Dory Drive on Saturday night when the armed suspects approached them in a vehicle and opened fire. The father died from a gunshot wound to his lower abdomen while his daughter was taken to hospital for treatment. Newlands East Community Police Forum Chairperson, Allan Peterson says although the crime rate has been steadily decreasing in the area, it is concerning that the crimes that are being committed, are of such a violent nature...
