As Newsbreak commemorates the 161st anniversary of their arrival this month, historian Dr. Juggie Pather says they were able to leave a lasting legacy of hard work. Dr. Pather says the lessons learnt from the indentured labourers are adaptable even in modern times - especially now during the COVID-19 pandemic...
