The coastline as well as rivers and recreational areas like the Blue Lagoon in Durban have been badly affected by tonnes of debris which washed up. Non-profit organisation, Green Corridors which looks after the City's green spaces has urged the public, communities as well as even holidaymakers to assist in lending a hand with clean up operations.
