By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - Non-profit organisation, Food and Trees for Africa are calling on South Africans this Arbor Day to plant a tree or start a garden in an effort to create a sustainable living for the future generations. Arbor Week 2023 runs from the 29th of August to the 4th of September. During this week, the Department of Forestry focuses on the country's champion trees, which include some of the oldest, largest and culturally significant trees. These include the Sophia Town Oak Tree and the Sagole Baobab Tree in Limpopo.
