Nelson Shongwe, Sibusiso Mthethwa, Fundile Mpondo, Mafika Sibande and Nkosingiphile Gumede were arrested following the torching of several trucks in the area a few weeks ago. They are facing charges of robbery, malicious damage to property and attempted murder. SABC reporter Mthobisi Mkhaliphi is at court and tells us what we can expect....

Transport Minister Barbara Creecy is pushing for a zero-tolerance drinking and driving law proposed through the National Road Traffic Amendment Bill. This after analysis has proven that drinking and driving largely contributes to road fatalities in the country. Therapeutic Manager for The South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Rudhika Naidoo, says a ban on drinking and driving is welcomed, however work needs to be done to do the same with being under the influence of drugs while behind the wheel...
