By Newsbreak Producer Taresh Harreeparshad - Stabilising Eskom's debt was a long time coming. That's the reaction from energy expert Chris Yellend. Yesterday Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana announced that the power utility would be given 254 billion rand for it's total debt of R422 billion. This will push government debt to 73.6 percent of GDP in 2025/26. But Yellend adds that this bailout will not assist Eskom to generate new electricity capacity...
