PROTEC is an NGO that develops young people to ensure success in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) careers. Last month, their branches in KZN were broken into and destroyed during the unrest - with numerous desktop computers, tablets, printers and kitchen equipment stolen. As of this morning, they are still in the process of assessing their losses.
