By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - Excitement is rife amongst runners from across the globe ahead of the 95th running of the Comrades Marathon after a two year hiatus due to COVID19. This Sunday will mark the 47th down run of the race and starts at the Pietermaritzburg City Hall. Runners from 70 different countries are participating alongside over 14,000 South Africans. One of the local contingent is 55-year-old Abdullah Mohammed from Bonela in Durban. This year he will reach a milestone in running his 10th Comrades, despite suffering a spinal injury 16 years ago. Mohammed has finished the race five times and says while physical training is a key element in preparation, it requires a great deal of mental strength as well...
