By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - As South Africans prepare to celebrate the festive season, snakes of all shapes and sizes will also make their way out of hiding to soak up some summer sun. From the harmless Natal Green Snake to the highly feared Black Mamba, the slithery serpents can be found in your car aircon vents, in trees around your yard and in some instances even under your bed... Now in an effort to educate people on how to identify and react to snakes, renowned snake catcher Nick Evans will host an awareness course this Sunday. The course will take place at the Giba Gorge Park in Pinetown, west of Durban for children aged 5 to 12. Evans says these youth will get to interact and learn more about these often misunderstood creatures...
