By Newsbreak Producer, Taliesha Naidoo - Convicted child rapist Nicholas Ninow has delivered an emotional testimony at the Pretoria High Court - providing his version of events that led to him raping a seven-year old girl in a toilet cubicle at a Dros Restaurant in Pretoria. Ninow is testifying today - as the court begins with pre-sentencing proceedings. The court earlier rejected his version, that he acted impulsively when he raped the child. His legal team will have to prove substantial and compelling circumstances on why the court should deviate from the prescribed minimum sentence of life in prison. Ninow has told the court that he was 13 when he started using drugs. Ninow wrote a poem to his victim as well as a letter to her family......
