Coloured South Africans are the second biggest population group in the country (Census 2022). Comprising 8.2% of the South African population, this grouping definitely has a claim to stake. This Mother's Day we shine some light on the community moms- who sacrifice their homes and families- to ensure that ALL of South Africa's children are taken care of. In an era where communities need to fend for themselves- mothers are showing just how irreplaceable they are when you need them the most. In this edition we speak to Sharin Rajman, Yashica Padia, Verushka Soma Memdutt and Sylvinah Basi- all of whom give their loving touch to help build a better community.

The bustling township of Chatsworth- famed as the highest concentration of Indian-origin people outside of India- laid bare their unique challenges to political representatives. While service delivery started the agenda- the conversation took a more national slant at the end as the ANC, DA, EFF, IFP and ActionSA locked horns.

Gift of the Givers founder, Dr Imtiaz Sooliman says he has been touched by the outpouring of support and humanity being shown towards victims of the George building collapse and their families ....
