By Newsbreak Producer Shanell Daniel - The Hawks have made a second-breakthrough arrest in connection with a "romance scam" in which a woman was swindled out of almost 2-million-rand. Earlier this week a 40-year-old man Omotese Ebor, was arrested at Sandton, in Johannesburg. It is alleged that between December 2016 and January 2018, the unsuspecting woman met him on social media who introduced himself under the guise "Mr. Allen Grey" - claiming to be a prominent businessman in the Western Cape. It's reported that a few days after they started dating, Ebor continuously borrowed money from the women. Gauteng Hawks spokesperson, Captain Ndivhuwo Mulamu says women need to be extremely vigilant when attempting to spark a relationship online...
