By Newsbreak Producer Hoosen Ebrahim - Disaster management teams are assessing the extent of the damage that has been caused by storm winds and heavy rains in various parts of Durban. Scores of people have been left without shelter in Inanda north of Durban after strong winds blew roofs off homes yesterday afternoon. The eThekwini municipality says areas north of Durban - like Inanda, Phoenix, Ntuzuma and KwaMashu - as well as Folweni in the west were hit by the storm winds. Residents described it as a tornado which lasted almost 10 minutes. KZN EMS responded to the "tornado" yesterday in Inanda and surrounding areas. Spokesperson Robert McKenzie spoke to Newsbreak earlier this morning to give us an update on the latest.
