By Newsbreak Producer Taliesha Naidoo - Explorer, Riaan Manser, will be taking five students from across the country on a once in a lifetime adventure to Antarctica. The selected students, from grade 11 to matric, will spend six days learning and exploring the icy-cold continent. The "Matric in Antarctica" programme is an initiative created to help inspire young South African students to think about how our daily actions affect the environment and what changes we can make locally to challenge the effects of global warming and climate change.
