That's the view of world-renowned scientist Dr. Kogie Naidoo after she just won the Outstanding Female Scientist Prize from European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership in France. This comes after 20 years of groundbreaking research in the field of HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis. Dr. Naidoo is Head of the TB-HIV Treatment Research Programme at the Centre for the AIDS Programme of Research in South Africa- or CAPRISA.
