NewsbreakDBN Metro police warn motorists to reverse illegal car modifications
The eThekwini metro police has warned motorists to reverse illegal modifications on their vehicles or run the risk of being pulled over and having their cars impounded. This comes after 21 allegedly illegally modified vehicles were impounded at the weekend in a raid at a well-known street racing spot. Last week, a motorist was allegedly assaulted by drag racers after he drove into the road where the races were taking place. A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media. Meanwhile there has been a call for the city to provide a space where motor enthusiasts can legally race. Dries Liebenberg reports . . . .
