Trees in Central LA are reducing greenhouse gases more than we thought, USC study finds

For many years, we’ve known planting trees lowers greenhouse gas levels. But a new study from the University of Southern California focusing on central LA has found that our trees are working a LOT harder at reducing emissions than we thought. We speak with Will Berelson, a professor of Earth Sciences and Environmental Studies at USC.
