The Oscar-nominated documentary short “All the Empty Rooms” follows a journalist and a photographer as they memorialize the bedrooms of children killed in school shootings. LAist host Julia Paskin spoke with the documentary’s director, Joshua Seftel, and with Mia Tretta, a gun violence survivor herself who lost her best friend Dominic Blackwell in the 2019 Saugus High School shooting.
