Grammy-winning singer Lizzo is out with her first children's book: "Lil Lizzo Meets Sasha B. Flootin'. 

It's about a girl who finds her voice with the help of a smart, sassy flute.

Lizzo tells AirTalk Friday host Austin Cross the story mirrors her own childhood, discovering music after a difficult move to Houston.

The book hits shelves September 8th and includes a QR code to an exclusive flute song from Lizzo herself.
