LAUSD board places superintendent on leave following federal searches

The Los Angeles Unified School Board voted unanimously to place Superintendent Alberto Carvalho on paid administrative leave pending an investigation after an hours-long closed meeting Thursday and Friday. LAist's Mariana Dale has more on the board's decision to also appoint an acting superintendent.
