After more than 50 years and countless performances in cities around the world, the pioneering new wave band Devo is about to perform at one Los Angeles venue they have yet to play – the Hollywood Bowl. Ahead of their show alongside the B-52s, Devo founder and lead singer Mark Mothersbaugh talked with LAist's Nereida Moreno about the band's return to the spotlight, which includes an upcoming performance at next year's Coachella Music Festival, and what it means to play a venerated venue like the Bowl for the first time.
