After Eaton Fire, tattoo artists turn loss into Altadena-inspired art

View descriptionShare

LAist's been following the story of the June Bug tattoo studio. It's a woman-run collective of tattoo artists, the studio opened in Altadena to be a welcoming space for women, the queer community and people of color. Then the Eaton Fire happened, destroying half of Altadena, including June Bug. Since then, its artists have found themselves throwing their doors open to another group: Fire survivors. Host Josie Huang reports.
