Seattle City Council’s Sally Bagshaw to decline re-election bidSeattle City Councilmember Sally Bagshaw isn’t expected to seek re-election after her current term ends in December 2019, sources in her district said. Bagshaw, 67, was first elected in 2009 and represents District 7 (Queen Anne, Magnolia, Uptown, Downtown, and Pioneer Square). She reportedly has been meeting informally with potential candidates for the seat in District 7, which includes the iconic Space Needle, some of Seattle’s wealthiest neighborhoods, and the city’s most prominent business district in South Lake Union.
