House Bill 800 calls for a Constitutional Convention to re-write Louisiana's state constitution. Voters are concerned with the Constitutional Convention process, how quickly it's happening, and how the public is being shut out. Lawmakers want to hold the convention to rewrite our constitution in "just a couple", while they're doing the important work of passing legislation during the current session.
