Coming off unforgettable 2022 campaigns, nib Newcastle Knights NRLW stars Yasmin Clydsdale and Caitlan Johnston are primed and ready to do it all again in the red and blue jersey.

Making their debut on the KNIGHTS // HQ Podcast, Yasmin and CJ reflected on a huge 12 months and their hunger to go back-to-back for Newcastle ahead of the start of the 2023 season.

The pair together represented and won the shield for New South Wales in the Women's State of Origin, pulled on the green and gold and won a World Cup for Australia plus brought home the first NRLW premiership to Newcastle after the side's Grand Final success in October last year.

With another pre-season in the bank, 2023 is shaping as the biggest in NRLW history with four new teams joining the competition.

The side will play nine regular season rounds kicking off this Saturday against the St George Illawarra Dragons and as part of a blockbuster double-header with the men's side at McDonald Jones Stadium.

We kick of the episode and get the competitive energy flowing with the 'Teammates Challenge' as we quiz the girls about one another.

Inaugural premiership winners with the Knights, the pair shared stories from that famous day for the Club last year including their favourite memories and arriving back in Newcastle after the game.

The two forwards also spoke about the growth of the women's game and previewed the season ahead for the Knights.

We finish the episode with another edition of 'Three Goats with Crokes' as we name our greatest sportswomen of all time.
