Right now at St. Roch Market food court (2381 St. Claude Ave.), there is a sandwich booth that is gaining a lot of attention for their delicious Tuscan style sandwiches: fresh peaches, prosciutto and burrata...soppressata, provolone picante and tomatoes, just to name a couple. All sandwiches are made on fresh baked daily schiacciata bread, focaccia's chewier cousin. They have some of the freshest, most delicious salads, including a version of the famous La Scala salad! Lisa and Jack Greenleaf are the owners and purveyors of LUNCH sandwich shop and were so fun to interview!

I had a really nice chat with Lindsay Ross of Dickie Brennan & Co who reminded me that DB&Co has grown quite a bit since we spoke last summer which means more places to check out during Coolinary month! Also, you only have a short time to enjoy those delicious Temperature Lunches at the Palace Cafe. On that note, did you know The New Orleans Rum Society is housed upstairs at the Palace Cafe? Sure, you can join! Lindsay has the details!
