Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week has watched Fall turn to Winter and Winter turn to Spring and he’s still waiting to meet his forever family. 

Harvey is almost two years old and he came to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center as a stray on November 20th. He’s a handsome black pit mix boy who loves to be out of the kennel spending time with his volunteer friends. He would love his own person to take him for long walks and play ball in the yard. Black dogs often get overlooked in shelters and SCACAC has been completely full for a long time so this nice young dog has been under the radar for 3 long months.

If you’re looking for a new best friend please come on out to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center to meet Harvey and all of the other great adoptable dogs. They’re waiting to meet you Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-12:45.
