Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week is looking for a fresh start in a loving home after getting off to a rough start in life.

Drax is a wonderful 3 year old Carolina Dog. He came to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center at the beginning of October after being confiscated from a hoarding situation. Drax is playful and social with other dogs as well as our volunteers. He loves his time outdoors running and playing in the fresh air and sunshine. Drax is going to be a wonderful addition to the family who opens their heart and home to him.

The kennels at SCACAC are full of wonderful dogs like Drax and they’re all waiting to meet you so please come on out! Hours are Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-12:45.
