Did you know Sangamon County Animal Control has dogs in foster homes that are available for adoption? Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week is a fabulous foster who has been waiting a very long time to meet her forever family.

Zina was surrendered by her owner over a year ago. She’s been in her foster home for 15 months and is now 3 years old. Zina was very frightened while living in the shelter but has calmed down a lot in her foster home. Her foster dad says she has good inside and outside manners and she’s very affectionate and loves to snuggle. We recently spent a few hours at an outdoor adoption event and Zina was sweet and friendly with everyone she met. Zina is a good girl who is ready for a future as a loving companion.

ZINA IS CURRENTLY LIVING IN A FOSTER HOME. SHE IS NOT AT THE SHELTER. If you would like to do a meet and greet with her, please call Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center at 217-535-3065 to arrange a meeting.
