Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week has what it takes to be an awesome family dog. All she needs is the right family to take her home and love her.

Stormy is about a year old. She came to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center as an owner surrender. She was sick at the time but she’s been nursed back to health by the staff. Now she’s a healthy, beautiful girl ready to start a new life.

Stormy has done well at off-site adoption events. Our volunteer says she jumps in the car ready to go anywhere. Stormy is friendly with kids and other dogs. Of course we recommend a meet and greet if you have kids and dogs at home. In the right home Stormy will be a wonderful family member. She’s available for foster and adoption.

You can meet Stormy and all of the other adoptable dogs during shelter hours Monday -Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
