Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week may look familiar to you. That’s because she was our star months ago, too. Unfortunately this beautiful girl is still waiting to meet her forever family.

Serenity is about two years old and she’s been living in a kennel at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center since the beginning of May when she was surrendered by her owner. She’s a strong and energetic girl who loves to play and get out for long walks. Serenity has been living in a kennel so long she’s going to need an adopter who is willing to spend time teaching her leash manners and how to be part of a family. It will be so worth it. Serenity can be a wonderful companion if she’s given the chance. She is available for foster, foster to adopt and adoption.
