The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center continue to be full. As soon as one dog is adopted or fostered another dog is there to take its place. Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week would love to go to a loving home and give up his kennel to another homeless dog.

King is a handsome young dog who arrived at SCACAC months ago as a seven month old owner surrender. He was adopted but then unfortunately returned when he didn’t do well with the cat in the home. He’s been waiting months for a new family to give him another chance. In that time he’s had to grow up in a kennel.

King loves to be outside in the fresh air and sunshine. Living in a kennel hasn’t affected his fun loving personality and he does well on his walks and playing with toys in the play yard. He can be a little timid at first but after he gets to know you he’ll trust you and be your best friend.

This good boy is available for adoption, fostering or foster to adopt. Please come on out to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center to meet King and all of the other adoptable dogs. Hours are Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00.
