Introducing Hope our Wet Nose Wednesday star of the Week.

Hope is a three year old Shepherd/Husky mix. She is super friendly and knows some commands. Just take a look at her beautiful eyes. Hope is a typical Husky which means she is not the dog for everyone. She’s highly intelligent and active and she needs an adopter who is willing to spend time every day providing her the stimulation she needs. In the right home this super smart and loving girl will be an amazing member of the family.

The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are completely full. The dogs need your help! Please come visit if you’re thinking about adopting. If you’re not ready to adopt please consider fostering. Every dog that goes into a home opens kennel space for new dogs that arrive daily.
SHELTER HOURS ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY 10:30-4:15 AND SATURDAY 9:00-1:00.
