Thursday Morning Music Buzz : 4/23/26

The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are still completely full and the dogs are in need of your help. If you’re able to adopt or foster a dog please come visit them ASAP. Shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 9:00-1:00. Every foster or adoption makes room for new dogs that arrive daily.

Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week is Barron, a four year old American Bulldog who came in as a stray in March. Barron is a big strong boy. He does okay on a leash but our volunteer says he’s hard to move when he doesn’t want to move. He’s a friendly boy who will be a good companion for someone who has experience with big dogs. Barron is available for foster and adoption. He’s waiting to start fun in the sun with a new loving family.
