Marvel is heading to Cali with the West Coast Avengers and celebrating the 800th legacy issue for The Incredible Hulk. DC Comics is sending readers to the new Watchtower in Justice League Unlimited and Black Canary starts her path to be Best of the Best. Image launches Hornsby and Halo and Dark Horse offers Welcome To The Maynard.

Early 90's cartoon favorite Darkwing Duck will be getting a new on going series next year. Dynamite Entertainment announced that writer Daniel Kibblesmith and artists Ted Brandt and Ro Stein will be joined by the original creator Tad Stones. DD will revisit highlights and learn lessons from the past. Darkwing Duck lands in stores February.

The selection committee for Free Comic Book Day has picked 46 titles that will be available for the event next year. Notable titles include Boom Studios teaming the Power Rangers and VR Troopers, Def Leppard's Hysteria from Vault Comics and the Speed Racer reboot from Mad Cave Studios. Free Comic Book Day is an annual event held on the 1st Saturday in May.

Absolute Batman #1 has become the best selling comic book of the year and will add to the total. Third printings will be available on November 27th and a fourth printing will be available December 25th. The reimagined look at the Dark Knight launched the Absolute Universe for DC Comics in October, Absolute Batman #3 is in stores Decemeber 18th.

DC Comics gives us The Question, DC imprints Milestone and Black Label drop The Shadow Cabinet and Jenny Sparks. Marvel keeps it kid friendly featuring It's Jeff and What If Minnie Mouse Became Captain Marvel. Look for Barstow and You Never Heard Of Me from Dark Horse Comics.

Doctor Doom's reign on the Marvel Universe next year will be challenged in a forth coming series starring Red Hulk. Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross must become what he no longer wants to be after being imprisoned by the Sorcerer Supreme. Machine Man, Deathlok and more will make guest appearances. Red Hulk is on shelves February 26th.

The spotlight will be on Zatanna Zatara once again for a six issue run. The Mistress Of Magic must save her stage crew as they battle multiple brushes with death versus The Lady White. Readers should expect some old allies and adversaries to return as well. Writer/Artist Jamal Campbell will launch Zatanna on February 19th.

The Absolute Universe Trinity is completed with launching Absolute Superman, DC also starts Batgirl and JSA. Marvel's Kahhori makes her debut in the 616. Image Comics will be adding Faster Than Light 3D, BOOM releases The Fade and Dark Horse drops FML and Living Hell.

Image Comics has announced the launch of Ninth Circle, a new line of comic books and the first release will be Blood Train. The one-shot takes place on a train with friends after a vacation; someone in the group is infected with a bioweapon and becomes a monster that could start World War 3. Adam Glass and Bernard Chang head the creative force, Blood Train will be on sale January 29.

It started with Superman versus Spiderman followed by 25 years of inter-company collaborations, those stories have been published into the DC vs. Marvel Omnibus. DC also has Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing team up in Feral Trees; The Fantasitc Four get tied into the Venom War for Marvel.

Jim Lee announced at NYCC that the Hush storyline is coming back to Batman next year and Jeph Loeb, Scott Williams and Alex Sinclair are returning as the creative team. A prelude to the story starts in November's issue of Justice League Unlimited and facsimile editions of the original story will be published in the months prior to launching the six-part run in March.

Wolverine is joining the Ultimate universe and Logan will become the Winter Soldier. Magik, Colossus and Omega Red are set to appear. Ultimate Wolverine is in stores January 15th. In February, Doctor Doom is featured in a limited series Rise Of Emperor Doom serving as the main story for the One World Under Doom event with tie-ins and one-shots across the universe. Both announcements came during New York Comic Con.

Image Comics will debut a new series with Jason Aaron and Mahmud Asrar leading the creative team. Bug Wars follows Slade Slaymaker, a kid from Alabama that is forced into a war with ant armies, spider witches and more tiny warriors in his backyard. Enter the vicious world of Bug Wars February 12th.

Marvel Comics has announced their new publishing line, Marvel Premier Collection which launches next year. Creative teams will take iconic storylines and make them easier to read and at a higher quality. Daredevil, Black Panther, Captain America and Fantasic Four are headlining the initial class; first issues in stores this February.

The epic Absolute Power event comes to an end and the new chapter for DC Comics starts with the All In Special One-Shot. Marvel launches an on going series featuring Storm and a mini series for Star Wars. Dynamite reboots Barbarella, Image starts Hyde Street, Boom Studios offers The Creeping Below.

DC Comics and SEGA of America are collaborating on projects that teams up the Justice League and Team Sonic. A limited series will feature the crossover of the two universes and the unity needed to save both. Details on apparel, toys and collectibles will be announced throughout 2026. The first issue of the limited series is set for March 2025.

Image Comics will be publishing a new imprint, Ninth Circle; the first issue is a one-shot Freddie The Fix. The title character cleans up violent crimes committed by movie monsters throughout Hollywood. Ninth Circle features the horror genre, more titles will be announced. Freddie The Fix hits stands December 11.

Nearly 3 decades after DC released Batman: The Long Halloween, the final sequel The Last Halloween starts it's run. Absolute Power Origins and Task Force 7 series' wrap up. The Avengers Annual headlines for Marvel Comics. And Image adds to the shelves Knights vs. Samurai, Creepshow and Violent Flowers.

Dark Horse Comics will publish a time travelling murder mystery set in the 22nd Century. Ripperland, a 4-issue series follows American and British government agents investigating an American murdered while in London. While searching for the truth, Jack The Ripper returns after 300 years and is suspected of crime. Ripperland arrives January 22. 

Harvey Dent, a.k.a. Two-Face is getting a limited series. After making his debut over 80 years ago in Detective Comics; this is the first time the part time attorney, part time villain will be featured in a series. The story will start in a courtroom with Dent defending Victor Zsasz. Two-Face launches December 4.

Elektra, known for being a vicious assassin will be featured in a limited series on the Marvel Red Band imprint. Readers can expect unleashed intensity by the Woman Without Fear as she protects Hell's Kitchen from violent crime and the occult. Daredevil: Unleash Hell - Red Band in it's censored polybag will be available in comic book stores January 8.

Bryan O'Malley and Leslie Hung are teaming up again to re-boot the Snotgirl series. The new story arc follows Lottie Person living her daily life as a fashion influencer, her relationship with Caroline and the trouble that they get into. Image Comics is set to publish the on-going series, Snotgirl re-launches December 4.

BOOM Studios will explore the world that is changed forever when fungal supersystems infect humans. In Bloom tells the story of humans adapting to growing extra limbs, radical personality changes and communicating with other worlds. Meanwhile Agent Spears investigates murders and violent crimes. In Bloom is available December 11.

Several heroes from Marvel's New Champion variant cover series will make their debuts in an on-going series. Liberty, Hellrune, Moon Squire and Cadet Marvel are the initial class with more heroes expected to assemble. The first challenge for the young team will be battling the Cult Of Hela. New Champions launches January 8.

Fan favorite Disney characters are set to portray Marvel's Fantasic Four. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald are starring in the reimagined origin story and will battle Mole Pete to save Duckburg in their first mission. What If...Mickey and Friends Became The Fantasic Four is available January 8.

Marvel Comics will be heading back to World War II to tell the origin story of Sergeant Sal Romero, known as Ghost Rider '44. Romero has a violent encounter with a Nazi officer that intends to annihilate all humans. Wolverine, Nick Fury and Peggy Carter are teaming up to help save the world as well. Hellhunters gets started Dec 15.

Marvel Comics during September will have variant covers from characters in the MCU. The art comes from Ryan Meinerding which will also be in a forthcoming 300 page art book that includes illustrations, sketches and insights. Boom Studios and Hasbro are releasing Power Rangers Prime. The ongoing series will have familiar characters in a reimagined world to save from new villains. The new chapter comes following the events of Darkest Hour and will be a jump on point for all readers. Power Rangers Prime is in stores November 13.

DC Comics has revealed the Trinity's logos plus the main and variant covers for the upcoming Absolute Universe. Absolute Batman doesn't have a mansion or butler; Absolute Wonder Woman does not have Themsycira or Amazon sisters; Absolute Superman doesn't have home or family. The Absolute Universe is launching in October.

Minnie Mouse is the newest character from Disney to join the Marvel universe. The What If...Minnie Became Captain Marvel one shot will show a re-imaged origin story for Carol Danvers. Peg Leg Pete and Scrooge McDuck will also be included. The one shot is released November 20th.

DC Comics and Funko Pop are set to continue their Holiday series. Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Batgirl and Supergirl will be given santa hats, presents and candy canes as accessories. Presale orders are available, the figures are expected in November.

Image Comics has revealed an excerpt from their upcoming graphic novel We Called Them Giants. The main character Lori, wakes up to a world in which nearly everyone is gone and those she encounters are starving and hiding from gangs before getting unexpected help. We Called Them Giants is in local comic book stores October 30 and retail stores November 12.

Todd McFarlane Productions and Image Comics with publish a ongoing series following a legion of Knights seeking vengeance from Samurai Warriors. The creative team will be David Dastmalchian and Federico Mele, telling the story of Sir Charles Ward known as The Dragon Butcher. Knights vs. Samurai makes it way into stores September 25.

Black Lightning will be featured in a miniseries apart of DC's All In initative, telling his role as leader for the Justice League metahuman outreach. Joining Jefferson Pierce will be his daughters Anissa and Jennifer reprising their superhero personas Thunder and Lightning. The trio will be located near Metropolis. Black Lightning starts November 13th.

The Incredible Hulk #19 in the ongoing series will reach it's 800th legacy issue. It will include the current storyline for Bruce Banner and bonus stories from the Hulk family, one of which will become a solo series next year. The giant-size milestone comic book will be available Nov 27th.

Hellverine heads an on-going series starting in December. Bagra-ghul resurrects Akihiro and the two will live as one; expect to see Doctor Strange. Black Canary is getting a limited series, battles Lady Shiva.
