Early 90's cartoon favorite Darkwing Duck will be getting a new on going series next year. Dynamite Entertainment announced that writer Daniel Kibblesmith and artists Ted Brandt and Ro Stein will be joined by the original creator Tad Stones. DD will revisit highlights and learn lessons from the past. Darkwing Duck lands in stores February.

The selection committee for Free Comic Book Day has picked 46 titles that will be available for the event next year. Notable titles include Boom Studios teaming the Power Rangers and VR Troopers, Def Leppard's Hysteria from Vault Comics and the Speed Racer reboot from Mad Cave Studios. Free Comic Book Day is an annual event held on the 1st Saturday in May.

Absolute Batman #1 has become the best selling comic book of the year and will add to the total. Third printings will be available on November 27th and a fourth printing will be available December 25th.
