Restorationist and educator Steve Kester joins the show to not only discuss the importance of preservation and restoration and how the two differ, but also talks about the need for skilled laborers within the various trades. There is a high need for craftsmen in industries such as woodworking, plaster, blacksmithing and stone carving – and one nonprofit college in South Carolina is taking the lead to reinvigorate student interest.
