Frankie opens the show with Johnyne and Michelle from Leadership Northeast group Snack Pack. The group is raising money to help fill backpacks full of health foods for children who are scholarship recipients of the JCC Day Camp. The goal of the group is to assist with food insecurity for area children during the summer months. Group Snack Pack is having a Backpack, Blues and Rock & Roll fundraiser on April 29th at the River Street Jazz Cafe.

The Marcy learns about the Northwest Running Rangers and their Distance Medley Race fundraiser on April 22nd at the Susquehanna Warrior Trail from coach Gareth Henderson. The group helps train Northwest students from grades 5-7 through running and practicing a healthy lifestyle. Lastly Frankie is joined by Michelle Newberry of the Family Service Association of NEPA to talk about their annual Spring Fling and online auction at the FM Kirby Center April 20th. FSA NEPA provides a variety of services through Northeast and Central Pennsylvania, including the 211 HelpLine.
