Vernon is holding a benefit to support the Saint Cats & Dogs of Nay Aug Park. The former zoo inside the park has been converted into a shelter for cats, also providing education as well as a mobile spay/neuter unit. Vernon talks about the need for area shelters and addresses the feral cat issues that are affecting numerous communities across the Northeast. The event runs from 2-4pm on the 2nd and your $20 entry includes your first drink. Vernon says the shelter is also in need of donated supplies and volunteers.
