He covered numerous other events for us over three decades, including the Winter and Summer Olympics, the British Open and the College World Series.

Prior to joining the network he was the voice of Navy Football, the Washington Senators in Major League Baseball and the old Baltimore Bullets of the NBA.

He was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2016. He was 94 years old.
