Steve also gets real about the darker side of the music industry: rejection, bad contracts, gatekeepers, people refusing to open doors, and the importance of continuing even when people tell you that your dream isn’t going to work.

You don’t have to change who you are to become successful.

Steve explains why staying authentic to his own style ultimately became one of the biggest reasons people noticed him. After years of hearing “no,” the same music some people overlooked eventually reached millions and earned praise from some of the biggest names in entertainment.
