Period poverty affects many people in our community, and no one should have to choose between basic hygiene and other necessities. That's why The Medicine Hat Skateboard Association has teamed up to support the Root Cellar Food and Wellness Hub and Redcliff Youth Centre for this month long (and ongoing) campaign to end period poverty in our community. 

Join us at the Medicine Hat College for the big Grand Finale Event and the "Longest Snake Of Generosity" starting at 3pm!

Our Collective Journey’s Rise Up Hot Air Balloon Festival is preparing for its biggest year yet as dozens of pilots and crews descend on Medicine Hat ahead of the event.

The festival is entering its fifth year, with pilots coming from across Canada and the United States.

The White Horse Rider Tepee Project is a Medicine Hat, Alberta, initiative led by Brenda Mercer to build seven community tepees to celebrate and share Indigenous culture. Supported by a grant from Indigenous Youth Roots, the project brings volunteers of all backgrounds together to foster community and reconciliation.

Pole Harvesting This Weekend (May 23)
Hauling: We are looking for volunteers with a truck and trailer capable of hauling 25-foot poles.
Equipment: Experienced chainsaw users.
 Helping Hands: General volunteers to help move and prep the poles.
