We speak with Emily Dash and Genevieve Clay-Smith, two filmmakers and disability advocates about the controversy surrounding SiA’s new film Music. Emily Dash is a disability advocate at Accessible Arts and a critically acclaimed filmmaker. Her CV includes productions at ABC, Sydney Opera House Studio, PACT, as well as screenings at Sydney Film Festival and ABC iView. Genevieve Clay-Smith is a Tropfest winner and co-founder of Bus Stop Films, a not for profit aimed at teaching, empowering, community building, and supporting filmmakers with disabilities.
