We are now halfway through the year and Mike defines his Top 10 movies of 2026 so far. He shares what made these movies stand out, where you can watch them and what is left that’s coming out that has the ability to make the list. In the Movie Review,  Mike talks about Moana starring the Rock. It’s Disney's live-action version of the animated movie we've all known and love. Moana answers the Ocean's call and, for the first time, voyages beyond the reef of her home island of Motunui with the infamous demigod Maui. Mike shares why he was reluctant to see it but ultimately what this live action remake is actually a good thing! In the Trailer Park, Mike talks about  Nimrods which is a movie based on the early, real-life touring adventures of the punk rock band Green Day. Mike shares the mid-budget music movies it reminds him of and why we don’t get movies like this anymore.

Mike shares why the movie made him cry twice, if it felt like a rip-off since they used a lot of old footage and is it really the end of the franchise? He talks about major movie franchises that were planned but cancelled after the first film flopped at the box office. From Dungeons and Dragons to Power Rangers he shares his list of failed franchises that may need to settle as future culture classics. In the Movie Review, Mike and Kelsey give their thoughts on Supergirl. When an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Supergirl reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion for an interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.  Mike and Kelsey talk about Milly Alcock’s performance as Supergirl, the criticism the movie is receiving, and why the world might still not be ready for female lead superhero stories.  In the Trailer Park, Mike breaks down Shrek 5. It follows Shrek, Fiona, and their three teenage kids on a whirlwind adventure to the magical metropolis of "Further Far Far Away". Mike talks about if it’s pushing the envelope too far and why everyone is upset about the animation.
