On today’s episode Yo Murphy shares the importance of having the right team to support in you both on and off the field. Listen in as Jennifer and Yo discuss dealing with competition, the impact of achieving greatness, and the three key elements of being a good teammate. They also discuss Yo’s journey from the NFL to finding his passion for serving athletes through performance therapy and coaching.

 

Yo Murphy is a former football player, who played college football at the University of Idaho. Yo has played in multiple professional football leagues, starting off his professional football career playing for the BC Lions in the CFL where he won a Grey Cup. He then played overseas for the Scottish Claymore and throughout his career has played for a number of CFL teams, the XFL, and also in the NFL for multiple teams such as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Minnesota Vikings, and the St. Louis Rams. Yo is the only player to ever play in the regular seasons of the CFL, NFL, XFL and NFL Europe, as well as the only player to suit up for the Super Bowl, Grey Cup, and World Bowl championship games. Currently Yo is the owner of Yo Murphy Performance where he provides expert coaching amd training for high school, college, and pro athletes. Yo has trained elite athletes such as Tre McKitty, Christian Barmore, and 2020 Heisman Trophy Winner, Davonte Smith.
