Today on Move the Ball®, Jennifer discusses the challenges and opportunities that come with being a member of the 2024 NFL Draft Class. Listen in as Jennifer talks with quarterback Austin Reed about his college football career, his training, his aspirations, lessons he learned (on and off the field) to be successful, and how we can apply them to business and life.


Austin Reed has been considered one of the most prolific passers in college football during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Austin started his college football career playing for West Florida where he led the team to a Division II National Championship. During his time at West Florida, Austin threw for 4,089 yards, 40 TDs, and rushed for an additional 6 TDs. Austin then transferred to Western Kentucky, and during the 2022 season, he led the country in passing yards with 4,744 yard, where Austin ended that season off as the New Orleans Bowl MVP, passing for 497 yards and 4 touchdowns. In 2023, Austin led Conference USA in passing yards per game (278.3), total passing yards (3,340), completions (289), and passing touchdowns (31).
