Today on Move the Ball® Nigel Kirwan discusses decision-making, speed, and staying adaptable in sports and in business. Jen and Nigel explore the shifts and discoveries Nigel made while growing up in the culture of hockey and how his passion allowed him to practice making fast, confident decisions both on and off the ice. Nigel also explains the many shifts the NHL made during the pandemic and how the league worked together to create the best possible outcome.

Nigel Kirwan is currently the video coach for the 2020 Stanley Cup Champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and is an original member of the Lightning organization. In his current role, Nigel is responsible for the breakdown of pre-scout and game film, formulating of scouting reports on opposing clubs, and creating highlight and specialty film for use by the Lightning coaches and players. Nigel also served as the video coach for Team USA in the 2008 International Ice Hockey Federations Men's World Championship and as video coach for Team USA at the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
