According to Disney CEO Bob Iger, the future of Star Wars is going to be on television, not the big screen following the success of the Mandalorian series, which the second season has been confirmed, so the adventures of baby yoda will continue. So it looks like for the next couple of years we won’t be seeing anymore Jedi’s on the big screen, but hey… Popcorn is a lot cheaper at home.
